Canvas Shoes
Subject: KISS Canvas Shoes
From: Alec Damiano on 03/06/2010

I've been a big fan of KISS for quite some time now, and I decided to use my obsession in a productive way. I bought some plain white canvas shoes at Payless last week, and decided to draw 2 of my heroes on them. First, I drew Gene and Paul with mechanical pencil, and went over the artwork 3 times with different types of ink pens. Finally, my mother detailed the lips and Gene's tongue with red glitter nail polish and sprayed shellac on them to seal the artwork. I'm wearing them right now, and people at school have really loved them. It took three days, but it was definitely worth it! :D Makes me proud to be part of the KISS Army. :)

Gene, Paul, Eric, Tommy, Thanks for continuing to amaze and thrill your millions of fans and give us exactly what we want! I've been a fan for 35 years and had the honor of meeting you at Hershey PA in 2004 [and am in the 'Rock the Nation' dvd!]. I love all the videos you have included in your web site and especially the meet and greet one that was just added! It reminds me of that tremendous night meeting you all. It was well worth every hard earned penny too- how amazing to meet your heros and be told that KISS is nothing without their fans and meaning it! Thanks for ALL you do..the love, the attention, the respect to your fans, great music, best shows in the world and also showing your love and respect to the military! The band has never been better and you are all to be commended for your dedication and hard work!! NO band loves their fans more and NO band has fans that love them like we do! THANKS! May you all rock on and continue to fill our dreams and yours!! Love and KISSes, Kelli

KISSARMY hello my name is Jaime Silva Vergara y soy de chile. I recently suffered a terrible earthquake, as everyone knows, but despite that we do not lose your sense of humor. Condorito is the oldest surviving comic, this since 1949 and in its latest edition on its front page to include the main characters dressed as majestic kiss ... mimicking the cover of destroyer ... well a greeting to the distance all through kisseros world ....

Hi,guys!! My name is Rodrigo Barraza and am a die-hard KISS fan since 1975, when I first listened to ALIVE!! It blew my head off!! Well, I write from Chile, after suffering terrible earthquake a week ago!! It's so sad and painful, but we are going to get up right from the ashes!!! Well, I attach the cover of Condorito's last issue. Condorito is a famous and long-lived comic character here in Chile. Condorito has some close friends and they all are KISS fans, as you can see. I guess is a very funny cover, don't you?? I hope you will be coming to Chile again, your show last year was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Keep on rockin'

Hey guys! I want to share how I became a fan of KISS. And i must also add that i have NEVER and will never be a fan of any other band! I have always loved music, and been open to all kinds of genres. But when i was 13 and found the albums Dynasty and Psycho Circus at my best friends place i just knew. After one song i was dazzled and started asking for KISS CDs and movies for christmas and birthdays. I listened to KISS everday, and at my 14th i had a project in english class. Since no one wanted to join me on my KISS project, i decided to just do it alone! Since i was 15 i started dreaming about seeing you live! But at that time you had already had your "last tour" (as we thought at the time). I even saw that Gene had stated that you would come to Oslo, Norway, one more time to do a show because of all the beautiful women. And i was psyched.... I waited for 1 year for a planned concert. But nothing came. When i was surfing the ticketservice a couple of days ago i jumped in my chair when i saw you were playing in Oslo in June. And since i am hard on cash at the moment i called my dad asap. He helped me out! And i am everyday jumping of joy that i will be able to see you guys live after all! Lol.. I am even going alone since i have no friends who likes the same kind of music as i do ;P I want to thank you all for everything you have done for the music and the KISS image! You guys ROCK! As a KISS fan since the age of six, I have always thought about the day I would get to meet KISS in person. Well, that day finally came this last December the 5th at the toyota center in Houston Texas. I am 39 now so I feel that I rank high in the KISS army! The day came and boy was I nervous... Those who know me know that rarely am I at a loss for words. When it came my time for the photo and the autographs at the meet and greet, I was simply overwhelmed to be in the same room as KISS.. I was literally speechless and in tears. I managed to tell the guys that this was my first meet and greet, and my first front row experience at a KISS concert. I also mentioned that my wife who was five months pregnant and son who is a huge Eric Singer fan was also at the show. Gene hugged my and loved my tatoo of him. Eric personally ran out to me after his drum solo and handed me a drumstick for my son. Tommy and Gene both threw me pics. and now I am in the official meet and greet comercial for Europe. Life does not get much better than this for a KISS fan Rgds, Nate Schmidt Houston Texas

Just wanted to share that I mentioned KISS in my school paper. It's about how music has lost it's soul, and there's a few paragraphs about KISS in there, and the greatness the seems to come out of all they do. Naturally, being a huge KISS fan, I couldn't write an article about the music industry without spreading the Gospel of KISS a little. http://media.www.theonlinerocket.com/media/storage/paper601/news/2010/03/05/Opinion/Todays.Music.Doesnt.Have.Same.Soul-3885239.shtml?reffeature=mostemailedtab Hope you enjoy it! Dear Gene,Paul,Eric and Tommy, I really hope you are reading the emails because they are really from the heart of those who care about you. I read the then and now review, and this is my version. Then,1976,I knew there was a special connection with you, KISS.I was about a 15 year old country girl taking care of the neighbor's sheep for money and not able to drive to big Seattle for any concert. But the dream of being in your presence never stopped. Fast forward to last winter when Im at age 46,and Kiss(along with the Rocky movies for some reason)helped me pace through the 3 surgeries and stays at Seattle Children's Hospital for my now 17yr old Daughter. Nov 15,2009 I finally made it to see you in Seattle and Im so grateful that you are stronger than ever. And Tommy and Eric..You are amazing and I love learning about you and YOU ARE KISS! Each of you, HAVE A GREAT DAY! and Im still going to meet you before Im 50!Love forever! Karen,Centralia WA

I'm only 19 years old so I obviously can't say that I remember hear about KISS coming to Cadillac. But, knowing that I graduated from Cadillac High School, makes me feel like the history is kind of mine as well. I think it's amazing that such a huge band would come to such a small town homecoming weekend, but it is true, no one will forget it, whether they were there or not. It's awesome the appreciation that this band has and had for it's fan!!! Go Vikings!!! and of course, Go KISS!!!
