Hello Kiss!! My name is Gary, I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm 37 years old, and I have an 8 year old son who just adores you guys more than anything. Which by the way, I did the same thing back in 1977! I still love you guys just the same even after all of these years!! My father told my mother back in 1978, "KISS is just a fad, they will soon be forgotten". The reason he said that was because I was 4 years old, jumping around the house with my KISS toy guitar while jamming to "Black Diamond" from the "Double Platinum" record.
Well, my letter ends with a huge thank you for returning to Pittsburgh! I didn't take my son when you guys came to Mellon Arena on December 13, 2009. And I felt horrible when I saw all of the younger kids there. Well, I'm taking him to see you guys for the first time on July 29th at the Niagra Pavillion in Burgettstown, Pa.
I've been attending KISS concerts since 1983
Thank you KISS for all of the wonderful music, and the many years of entertainment!!! No band can compare to the magic of KISS!

hey guys, why don't ya visit oz? its bloody great down here, me and my mates want ya to do a aussie tour, me and me best mate Braden, dressed up as you guys, walked all around town, just to show how much we love you guys, I own merchandise, I own CD's, I own DVD's, I even based a whole series of artwork for my school project, on KISS and the awesome KISStory. We love ya shows, we rekon they're mind blowing, I've never been to a concert before, and my cousin gave me free metallica tickets, i love metallica ALMOST as much as i love you guys. But it's not the same, I was really hoping that my first concert would be a KISS experience, but its not, but I still really really want see your show down here.

My sister recently found this letter that I wrote to Kiss when I was a little kid.The year was 1978. I was 9 years old and Kiss was my world. I used my mothers old-school typewriter and was very proud of myself because I wrote it all by myself. I always wondered why I never got a response back and just found out that my mother( didn't approve of Kiss) never sent the letter! I am now 42 years old and "the hottest band in the world" still burns deep in my heart. So here is the letter that Kiss should have gotten 33 years ago. Hope you enjoy.

Dear Mr. Simmons,
I wanted to thank you personally for Gene Simmons Family Jewels where Shannon had a lump in her breast. It made me take a look at what I needed to do and I made a doctors appointment and waited 2 weeks to be told that everything is okay.
On to a different note I want to thank you all for your years of entertaining you are an amazing Band and I love your music.
I was wondering if when you come to the Indiana State Fair if you would make it to the Pioneer Village and look me up at the Rib Eye tent.
I will be working and won't be able to attend your concert. Which makes me very sad.
Please keep touring and I will make it to the next one.

Thank you so much for supporting the military as much as you do. I am a volunteer at Cheyenne Frontier Days, where you will perform on July 23rd. I and many other volunteers are members of the United States Military or retired from the military. It is such an honor to know that you care for us. My aunt has requested a grant from Pepsi to send sleeping bag liners to troops overseas and we were hoping to get a little shout out from you at the concert for people to vote for it. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your service to us.

I have been a KISS fan since the 70's and there has never been a better band. I am a 47 yr. old divorced woman who raised three kids on her own and they are all KISS fans. I worked a full-time job and raised my kids and that didn't leave a lot of extra money but now my youngest son who is 21 surprised me with tickets for my birthday! I can't wait to see the show it was always a dream of mine. This is for Gene, I watch your show Family Jewels and let me tell you a marriage license doesn't matter when it comes to your kids, you are a great father and I give you credit for being there because there are a lot of dads (who are married to mom) who just walk away when all is said and done and what you and Shannon has really works, no need for a piece of paper!

When I was younger I would watch some movies and listen to the radio and hear these awesome songs and I never knew who did them. When I got older I realized it was your music. My parents are immigrates from Portugal and they never really introduced me to good music just portuguese folk music. So I would have to try to find it on my own. And I really didn't know how to find good music. I became a fan of Gene from watching his show because he kinda reminds me of my dad and Shannons pretty hot so that doesn't hurt in watching the show. Anyway I just watched KISSteria and you guys are awesome. Your personalities, your music, how much you guys give back to the community. KISS, i beleive you have changed the world. 36 years of KISS is amazing! unfortunatly I am 13 and only enjoyed KISS for 13 of the 36 years you hjave been touring. There is a KISS song for every mood I'm feeling and every song has emotional value to the fans. I can't wait to see you guys for the first time in my whole life on 9/11 this year in Clarkston, Michigan. I am truly enthused to see my rock Gods live! Kiss, what can i say. you guys have had such a huge impact on me and my life. you're music has helped me through some pretty tough times, i have followed you religiously since i first heard you.
